Yes. Emergency calls ring through to a plumber, not an answering service. If we are under a house and cannot pick up, we call back as soon as we are out — usually within a few minutes.

The whole Big Bear Valley: Big Bear Lake, Big Bear City, Sugarloaf, Fawnskin, Moonridge, Erwin Lake and Baldwin Lake. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask — the answer is usually yes.

We price by the job, not by the hour, and you get a written number before work starts. For emergency and after-hours calls we quote the dispatch fee before we get in the truck so there are no surprises.

Yes — California license #1077687, and we carry liability insurance and workers' compensation. We are happy to provide certificates for HOAs, property managers or commercial clients.

Cash, check, credit and debit cards, Venmo and Zelle. Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed to different terms in writing for a larger project.

Yes. Workmanship is warranted for one year on standard repairs, and manufacturer warranties on installed equipment are passed through to you in full. If a repair fails within the warranty period we come back at no charge.

That is a large part of what we do. Give us your manager's or cleaner's contact information and we will take routine instruction from them while keeping you informed on anything that costs money.

Most Big Bear homes have a main shutoff where the supply enters the house — often in a crawlspace, garage or utility closet — plus a curb stop in a box near the street. Find yours now, before you need it, and label it. If you cannot locate it, call us and we will walk you through it.

We document the failure with photos, provide written findings on the cause, and give you an itemized invoice. That is generally what an adjuster needs. We do not negotiate with insurers on your behalf, but we make sure you are not missing paperwork.

Yes — restaurants, lodges, retail and HOA common areas throughout the valley. Commercial accounts can be set up with scheduled preventive maintenance and priority response.

Water heater replacements, gas line work, repipes and new fixtures in new locations generally require a permit in San Bernardino County. We tell you upfront when one is needed and handle it as part of the job.

Keep the heat at 55°F or higher when the house is empty, insulate everything in the crawlspace, and install a leak sensor tied to an automatic shutoff valve. Those three things prevent the overwhelming majority of the losses we get called out to.

Water where it shouldn't be? Call now.

A licensed plumber answers 24 hours a day, holidays included. We will tell you how to shut the water off before we even hang up.
